Rich has said that the Stealth was the first guitar that was designed by an artist. Although the designer of the Stealth, Rick probably wasn’t the guitarist that made the Stealth a hallmark in the Metal world. That honor would most likely go to Chuck Schuldiner of the band Death. Chuck, arguably the founder of Death Metal was more often than not seen with a jet-black single pickup B.C. Rich Stealth slung around his neck.
