EagleThe Eagle was introduced in 1979. The Eagle, B.C. Rich’s second original guitar design was a further progression of the Seagull. A few players found the distinctive “horn” on the top bout of the Seagull a bit awkward, sometimes poking them in the sternum. The Eagle featured a refined, double cut away design that remains a distinctive B.C. Rich design. A little known fact, the Eagle initially designed to be a bass. The “Bodine Bass” as it was originally called was designed for Bill Bodine, bassist for Olivia Newton John.
