BeastThe Beast was introduced in 1999, perhaps we should say, was “unleashed” in 1999. In a strange twist of history, the Beast was introduced the same year of B.C. Rich founder, Bernie Rico’s death. With one of the more aggressive (and large) shapes in the B.C. Rich line, the Beast presents a striking profile that is rarely if ever confused with any other guitar. Inspiration of the design is often credited to Brian Hoffman of the band, Deicide. Six years later, in 2005, a new version scaled down in size 10% arrived. The Son of a Beast was designed for players who loved the original Beast shape, but found it to be a little larger than life.
